Periodicals and Magazines
The following periodicals, which are located on the 2nd floor of the STCC Library, can be used to find articles in African American History. Magazines do not circulate, but photocopy machines are located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the library. Additional articles can be found online through our subscription databases. American Heritage - Covers general interest American history topics and events.
American History - Articles cover the range of American History, including the Civil War, American Revolution, and Civil Rights Era.
Jet - Each issue contains a brief summary of African American History events.
The New Crisis - Concerned mostly with current events, but does offer articles on African American milestones and historical events.
