Banned Books Week at the STCC library

Come on in to take a look at our display for Banned Books Week. The display case is covered with yellow barricade tape warning: "Caution - Do not enter" with a sign letting people know that "this display features books some people consider "dangerous". We have highlighted books in our library that have been challenged or removed from libraries across the country, including in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York State. The books include Catch-22, Beloved, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Kite Runner. Remember that the books on display are available for checkout!
