Free Community Health Fair Today!

The annual health fair for the college and the greater Springfield community, put on by the senior class of Nursing students, is taking place today. The fair will be held in the gymnasium of Scibelli Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Stop in and visit displays on a wide variety of health issues and concerns. Get your blood pressure taken, register for raffles, get free samples, talk with police and fire personnel, and a lot more.

Information booths will address issues such as adolescent health, asthma, tattooing and body piercing, child safety, and cardiovascular health. There will also be booths related to diabetes, domestic violence, and stress reduction, where you can get your hands massaged, learn deep breathing techniques and have a chance to win massage gift certificates!
