We joined LIBGUIDES.

We already have research guides, but there is so much more information we want to share with our patrons in the Web 2.0 universe. To promote library resources and to support our users, we became a LIBGUIDES member. Libguides integrates with websites, blogs, and courseware systems. We hope to include our de.lic.i.ous account and develop others. We can't wait to include all kinds of content, from 'blogs to podcasts to database links.

The folks at LIBGUIDES say that librarians help 'patrons find stuff they need and show them information they didn't even know existed!' That's our goal. Our STCC Library patrons will have all kinds of content that will help them.

LIBGUIDES says that ' Every month, LibGuides gets 2 Million page views (across all client libraries), proving that patrons are loving their librarian-prepared guides and finding them incredibly useful!'
