The page on academic counseling includes links to a math study site and a site on study skills, links for students with disabilities, as well as description of the kind of academic counseling available. The career counseling page describes the services offered at the center, including the availability of assessments such as Myer-Briggs and the Strong Interest Inventory. There are also many links to other websites helpful for career exploration, with both sites that offer general advice on careers, and sites to explore for specific career fields ranging from aerospace and audiology to urban planning and veterinarian. The admissions counseling page includes links to a “to-do” checklist about going to college and links to financial aid and scholarship information.
Personal counseling is also available at the center, on a walk-in basis for students in crisis, or by appointment (call 755-4985). The personal counseling page provides links to websites on many personal issues that might affect a student or family members. These include depression, dating and domestic violence, eating disorders, and substance abuse.
