Tutoring Resources at STCC:

The English Tutoring Center offers help with writing, as well as reading. Free, individual help is available to all STCC students, either by appointment or on a walk in basis. They offer help with generating and organizing ideas, help with editing grammar and mechanics, and assistance with citing research sources. In addition, they offer help with following written directions, interpreting literature, vocabulary, and test-taking tips. The English Tutoring Center is located in Building 13, Room 203, and is open from Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. -2p.m. Their phone number is 755-4234.

The Student Success Center in Building 27 also offers tutoring in a variety of subjects. Subjects include math, English, psychology, history, sociology, chemistry, physics, accounting and Spanish. An appointment is necessary to see these tutors; the Student Success Center is open from Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-7p.m. and on Friday between 8a.m. and 4p.m. and can be reached at 755-4715.
