Are you interested in the stars? If so, you probably know that the November night sky is known for Leonid meteor shower displays which should be coming along mid month or so.
This year, the Springfield Science Museum's large rooftop telescope will be open to the public for sky-gazing on Friday, November 2, at 7:30 p.m. The Museum will also have a speaker, Richard Sanderson, curator of physical science at the Museum, who will present "The Nights of Raining Fire," a program about November's Leonid meteor shower.
The program will be held rain or shine. If it is overcast, a planetarium show will be presented in place of using the telescope. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for individuals 17 and under. Check it out!
