Bibliographic Instruction Classes
STCC Reference librarians offer bibliographic instruction classes in the use of print and electronic library resources. Any full- or part-time faculty member may take advantage of this service by calling the reference desk at x.4549 or emailing Barbara Wurtzel (bwurtzel@stcc.edu). Please provide as much information as you can about the course, including number of students, date and time you'd like the class, nature of the assignment, and whether any students require special assistance. Library staff will be happy to consult with faculty about assignments. Faculty should call at least eight working days in advance. Most classes are taught in the Library Instruction lab, which has 22 computer workstations available for students (classes larger than 22 can be accommodated as well, but students may need to share a workstation).
